After a rather tough play, Yuralpa SC's Fernandez Miñon got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Achote SC's Teofilo Uceda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavel Braojos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Achote SC's zone, Valentine Garnica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Santecilla came out of the goal and Valentine Garnica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geancarlos Caldera during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 23 minutes, Mateus Codosal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achote SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Codosal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuralpa SC's Pavel Braojos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Uceda in the 28th minute of play. Ismael Santecilla made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Valentine Garnica sent off a good shot on target. Valentine Garnica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Achote SC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sebastian Pantoja hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telmo Sedan during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Valentine Garnica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Santecilla having to interfere. Valentine Garnica struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ismael Santecilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuralpa SC. If Camilo Domaquia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quiróz Muñagorri during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Quiróz Muñagorri hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Denis Senderos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Santecilla skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus Codosal in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Braojos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th match minute, Yuralpa SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Santander to maneuver through the defense. Yuralpa SC's Pavel Braojos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Yuralpa SC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Achote SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sebastian Pantoja hit a great ball. Yuralpa SC's Denis Senderos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Achote SC. A hard shot 87 in the game by Teofilo Uceda from a close distance when the talented Pavel Braojos managed to make a qualified save. Yuralpa SC's players were relieved. If Teofilo Uceda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Teofilo Uceda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pavel Braojos. Teofilo Uceda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4.
