Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chatruc Rebenga kicked off to start the match. Carlos Berrondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Banos FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Villegas Aranzana hit a great ball. If Carlos Berrondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Unceta in the 11th minute of play forced Banos FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Uribizalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Banos FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoro Palma. Carlos Berrondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jacobo Uribizalgo made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Arévalo Sendin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otovalo the free kick. Arévalo Sendin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Otovalo's zone, Chatruc Rebenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urtungo Collantes came out of the goal and Chatruc Rebenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Otovalo's goal looked a bit too open when Villagra Trexo came free, but Urtungo Collantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 41 minutes, Villagra Trexo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villagra Trexo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Banos FC got a freekick which was hit by Chatruc Rebenga. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for James Unceta to strike the kick off in the second half. James Unceta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Villagra Trexo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 71 in the game by Villagra Trexo from a close distance when the talented Urtungo Collantes managed to make a qualified save. Otovalo's players were relieved. 74 minutes into the match, Otovalo's goalkeeper Urtungo Collantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villagra Trexo. In the 75th minute, Zernin Cores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Otovalo's zone, Villagra Trexo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urtungo Collantes came out of the goal and Villagra Trexo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Uribizalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Berrondo in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Banos FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoro Palma. James Unceta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Uribizalgo having to interfere. When Chatruc Rebenga came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Banos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chatruc Rebenga couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Banos FC's goal looked a bit too open when James Unceta came free, but Jacobo Uribizalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Otovalo's goal looked a bit too open when Chatruc Rebenga came free, but Urtungo Collantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
