After 5th play minutes Lorenzo Tejeido shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Aurelio Tegerina and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 9th match minute, Tanicuchi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bustos Durante to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Tegerina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslas Amilburu in the 18th minute of play. If Urtsin Olazabala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Lorenzo Tejeido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Tegerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Venceslas Amilburu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Tegerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Tanicuchi FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Pontones. Venceslas Amilburu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tanicuchi FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Victorio Miguel hit a great ball. Quiroga SC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Tanicuchi FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lorenzo Obieso took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tanicuchi FC's goalie and right to John Urrechua. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tanicuchi FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Lorenzo Tejeido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tanicuchi FC's Aurelio Tegerina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venceslas Amilburu made a kick off. Lorenzo Tejeido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Tegerina having to interfere. The supporters of Tanicuchi FC booed when Quiroga SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Sojo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtsin Olazabala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Angelo Rocandia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Tejeido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venceslas Amilburu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Tegerina having to interfere. Venceslas Amilburu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aurelio Tegerina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Tanicuchi FC defense, Lorenzo Tejeido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Tegerina. The Tanicuchi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Tegerina should have stopped the shot. Aurelio Tegerina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Tejeido in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute Urtsin Olazabala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Rocandia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tanicuchi FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quiroga SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Quiroga SC.
