The CD Mataje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Albizuri should have stopped the shot. The supporters of CD Mataje booed when Otilia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Velamines didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montalvo Arri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segio Guifens during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes CD Mataje got a freekick which was hit by Segio Guifens. Yoel Lamas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rocio Güell in the 33rd minute. Yoel Lamas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Montalvo Arri's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Montalvo Arri made the kick off in the second half. Montalvo Arri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When CD Mataje's Montalvo Arri in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Yoel Lamas guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 88th minute Xaver Fragua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Albizuri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yoel Lamas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocio Güell, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Otilia FC's Yoel Lamas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocio Güell in the 92nd minute of play. If Rocio Güell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Otilia FC got a freekick which was hit by Xaver Fragua. After 96 minutes, Rubio Icazate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otilia FC and the CD Mataje players grew even worse after the yellow card.
