Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zambi's Garcés Salgado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Ricart Olalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zambi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zhidmad SC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garcés Salgado in the 10th minute of play forced Zhidmad SC's goalkeeper Vachon Mattei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiriboga Asteguieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Velasco Paliza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, Zambi's Tenorio Cabrera made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vachon Mattei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Velasco Paliza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiriboga Asteguieta in the 22nd minute of play. Velasco Paliza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiriboga Asteguieta in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Chiriboga Asteguieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velasco Paliza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Chiriboga Asteguieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 36 in the game by Ulizes Riazos from a close distance when the talented Velasco Paliza managed to make a qualified save. Zambi's players were relieved. In the 42nd match minute, Zambi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Saa to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulizes Riazos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Velasco Paliza. That made the score 1-2 in the 44 minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chiriboga Asteguieta made a kick off. Desiderio Saa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Ulizes Riazos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Zhidmad SC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Gasca. Tenorio Cabrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vachon Mattei having to make a save. Urritz Bengoa charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urritz Bengoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Garcés Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Vachon Mattei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulizes Riazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Ulizes Riazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velasco Paliza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velasco Paliza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulizes Riazos went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Zhidmad SC's Chiriboga Asteguieta got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chiriboga Asteguieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velasco Paliza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Zambi's Ricart Olalla got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Ricart Olalla off the ground.
