Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodríguez Urbistondo started the match with the kick off. Humberto Lorenzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Guisado having to interfere. A collision led to Africa FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Desiderio Isazi hit a great ball. Pablo Lerma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raúl Albertos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodríguez Urbistondo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Rodríguez Urbistondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinidad's Raúl Albertos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Africa FC's Walme Irazabal got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Monge Guillarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Trinidad's Trivniño Oliveros got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Trinidad booed when Africa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noriega Huergo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, one of Africa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Africa FC. Rodríguez Urbistondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Monge Guillarte came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Africa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monge Guillarte couldn't finish the play. Rodríguez Urbistondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Albertos having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Lorenzo made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Rodríguez Urbistondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raúl Albertos came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Africa FC's Rodríguez Urbistondo. But to his dismay, Rodríguez Urbistondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rodríguez Urbistondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Albertos having to interfere. Rodríguez Urbistondo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raúl Albertos. Raúl Albertos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After having played for 88 minutes, Pablo Lerma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trinidad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Lerma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raúl Albertos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodríguez Urbistondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trinidad players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Africa FC.
