Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Remolino SC's Valiente Moscoso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Valiente Moscoso came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Remolino SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valiente Moscoso couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 6 in the game by Leonides Alzaga from a close distance when the talented Zeruko Iturcha managed to make a qualified save. Rosaspamba's players were relieved. 10 minutes into the match, Remolino SC's Leonides Alzaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeruko Iturcha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lopez Resamano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Braulio Erran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Gustavo Iros put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Braulio Erran. When Valiente Moscoso came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Remolino SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valiente Moscoso couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rosaspamba's Duarte Aranzazu got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Lopez Resamano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Gostioz's late challenge caught a Rosaspamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Gostioz helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Gostioz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Braulio Erran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lopez Resamano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lopez Resamano scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braulio Erran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Iros to strike the kick off in the second half. If Leonides Alzaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carlos Zotes fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosaspamba's protests and gave Carlos Zotes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Carlos Zotes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes, Remolino SC's Maximiliano Huelga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeruko Iturcha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Remolino SC reached it. Lopez Resamano struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Braulio Erran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosaspamba. Gustavo Iros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Gustavo Iros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Erran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valiente Moscoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Valiente Moscoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remolino SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valiente Moscoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lopez Resamano got free with Braulio Erran in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Rosaspamba's Lopez Resamano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braulio Erran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lopez Resamano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Gostioz got his second yellow card in the match during the 99th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 99th minute, Emilio Gostioz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 100 played minutes, Rosaspamba's Duarte Aranzazu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braulio Erran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosaspamba reached it. The Rosaspamba supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rosaspamba would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
