The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miguel Revilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ambrossi Magdaleno. Julian Guardamiño hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Camilo Muste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Guardamiño in the 8th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Tarabita got a freekick which was hit by Oso Joli. In the 28th minute of the match, Luis Cedillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miguel Revilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zernin Berges who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Camilo Muste when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Pinsaqui SC booed when Tarabita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xinaro Tavarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Guardamiño in the 95th minute of play forced Tarabita's goalkeeper Camilo Muste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xinaro Tavarez's late challenge caught a Pinsaqui SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xinaro Tavarez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Xinaro Tavarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zernin Berges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarabita were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pinsaqui SC to leave the ground with a draw.
