After 15 played minutes Pangor got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Calderona. 16 minutes into the game, Deletre's Matias Lluberas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo Lorenzana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 19 played minutes Deletre got a freekick which was hit by Carlos-Armando Lojo. Flavio Bayllo in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnoldo Lizano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hernan Urbina kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Landaluce in the 28th minute of play forced Deletre's goalkeeper Arnoldo Lizano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Flavio Bayllo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos-Armando Lojo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Lorenzana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Matias Lluberas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos-Armando Lojo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Lizano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Bayllo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Pangor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Calderona to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Miguel Garces sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Lorenzana skillfully saved the ball. Deletre's Carlos-Armando Lojo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Lluberas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot by Miguel Garces from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Oswaldo Lorenzana's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Deletre's Xabier Abendano got a free kick in the 88th minute. Deletre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
