In the 7th minute, Loco Tobalina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Lorenzana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Pangor's Flavio Bayllo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CD Llurrimaguas's Roberto Tarsa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Landaluce in the 12th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Pangor's goal looked a bit too open when Cevallos Leon came free, but Oswaldo Lorenzana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes, Loco Tobalina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Llurrimaguas and the Pangor players grew even worse after the yellow card. 26 minutes into the match, CD Llurrimaguas's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Landaluce came free, but Roberto Tarsa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Flavio Bayllo came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Pangor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Bayllo couldn't finish the play. Flavio Bayllo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Tarsa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominguez Soltero got free with Oswaldo Lorenzana in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pangor booed when CD Llurrimaguas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Tijero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Xaver Pestaña recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roberto Tarsa. Xaver Pestaña showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 61 played minutes Pangor got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Landaluce. When Dominguez Soltero came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the CD Llurrimaguas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominguez Soltero couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, CD Llurrimaguas's Xesus Pala tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Loco Tobalina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pangor's Oswaldo Lorenzana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodolfo Landaluce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Loco Tobalina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Lorenzana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Tobalina, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Flavio Bayllo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Roberto Tarsa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pangor. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
