Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fidel Elosua started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Fidel Elosua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Chancana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fidel Elosua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zigor Caruezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xandro Oraa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hector-Luis Sevillano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Vermudo Vidrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in UD Chancana's zone, Xandro Oraa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector-Luis Sevillano came out of the goal and Xandro Oraa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vermudo Vidrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zigor Caruezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Elosua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UD Chancana's Fidel Elosua got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zigor Caruezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vernaza Cañedo in the 35th minute of the match. Xandro Oraa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Elosua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zigor Caruezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vermudo Vidrio was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vermudo Vidrio in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector-Luis Sevillano saved UD Chancana from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xandro Oraa in the 54th minute of play forced UD Chancana's goalkeeper Hector-Luis Sevillano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fidel Elosua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zigor Caruezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Elosua in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xandro Oraa in the 71st minute of play forced UD Chancana's goalkeeper Hector-Luis Sevillano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xandro Oraa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vermudo Vidrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vermudo Vidrio in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector-Luis Sevillano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xandro Oraa might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector-Luis Sevillano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xandro Oraa ran back to his position shaking his head. Pomona FC's Vermudo Vidrio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, UD Chancana's goal looked a bit too open when Xandro Oraa came free, but Hector-Luis Sevillano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UD Chancana had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
