A collision led to CD Bajen getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Hector-Luis Errarte hit a great ball. A collision led to UD Chancana getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Segio Pangua hit a great ball. Espiga Vecilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Sevillano having to interfere. Vernaza Cañedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Joffre Sedan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector-Luis Sevillano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espiga Vecilla in the 18th minute of the match. Fidel Elosua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Mario Azailla notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of UD Chancana's Hector-Luis Sevillano. Hector-Luis Sevillano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fidel Elosua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Elosua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joffre Sedan having to make a save. Espiga Vecilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes UD Chancana got a freekick which was hit by Segio Pangua. CD Bajen were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after UD Chancana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roldan Ledo took the corner. The corner ended in Roldan Ledo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but UD Chancana's Hector-Luis Sevillano did a great save. Joffre Sedan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Elosua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes, CD Bajen's Hector-Luis Errarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hector-Luis Sevillano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Bajen reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Elosua made a kick off. Joffre Sedan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vernaza Cañedo in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, UD Chancana's goalkeeper Hector-Luis Sevillano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Espiga Vecilla. Fidel Elosua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joffre Sedan having to make a save. If Zayvius Novajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in UD Chancana's zone, Espiga Vecilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector-Luis Sevillano came out of the goal and Espiga Vecilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vernaza Cañedo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Joffre Sedan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Chancana. Hector-Luis Sevillano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zayvius Novajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Zayvius Novajas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector-Luis Sevillano. That made the score 1-2 in the 78 minute of play. Joffre Sedan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vernaza Cañedo in the 91st minute of play. Fidel Elosua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Joffre Sedan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Elosua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Chancana's Fidel Elosua got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the CD Bajen defense, Vernaza Cañedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joffre Sedan. The CD Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joffre Sedan should have stopped the shot.
