Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) UD Chancana's Fidel Elosua started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Fidel Elosua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Elosua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Elosua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batista Agüero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. When Alvaro Negral fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Desvio's protests and gave Alvaro Negral a yellow card for diving instead. Batista Agüero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vernaza Cañedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fidel Elosua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Batista Agüero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Elosua went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fidel Elosua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Batista Agüero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Vernaza Cañedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Batista Agüero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

After 54 played minutes UD Desvio got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Tizon. Kléber Zunzunegui, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fidel Elosua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Batista Agüero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vernaza Cañedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Herbon charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Herbon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UD Desvio getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Augusto Herbon hit a great ball. Fidel Elosua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Agüero having to interfere. The supporters of UD Chancana booed when UD Desvio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velasco Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Elosua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Desvio's goalkeeper Batista Agüero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Fidel Elosua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UD Desvio's Batista Agüero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Elosua in the 94th minute of play. If Vernaza Cañedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over UD Chancana could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UD Desvio throughout the match.
