But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Lantadilla couldn't finish the play. With his leg Fiallos Garavilla managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Quillan's Geancarlos Gorvea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oscar Claramonte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuzen Raigada, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
With a little luck, Quillan's Oscar Claramonte got control of the ball when Zuzen Raigada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zuzen Raigada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geancarlos Gorvea in the 90th minute of play forced Gulac's goalkeeper Fiallos Garavilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiallos Garavilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geancarlos Gorvea in the 96th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
