Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Oscar Claramonte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 12 minutes into the match, Porotillo's goal looked a bit too open when Geancarlos Gorvea came free, but Uhin Portocarrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Quillan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aguirre Orozco to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Lantadilla made a kick off. Gabriel Terron scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Claramonte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gabriel Terron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porotillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Terron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Claramonte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Claramonte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zosimo Val in the 64th minute of the match. Calle Ungia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Claramonte. Quillan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Porotillo's zone, Francisco Lantadilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uhin Portocarrero came out of the goal and Francisco Lantadilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Porotillo's Uhin Portocarrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Porotillo from getting a goal against them. Francisco Lantadilla was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gabriel Terron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Claramonte having to make a save. 78 minutes into the match, Geancarlos Gorvea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Uhin Portocarrero, 2-2. When Francisco Lantadilla came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Quillan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Lantadilla couldn't finish the play. Zosimo Val fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Claramonte having to interfere. Oscar Claramonte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Val in the 91st minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
