The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zosimo Val in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fiallos Garavilla saved Gulac from getting behind. Nicolás Oquendo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Porotillo's Zayveon Romillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fiallos Garavilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porotillo reached it. With a little luck, Porotillo's Uhin Portocarrero got control of the ball when Zuzen Raigada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zosimo Val sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fiallos Garavilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Terron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Zigor Alarcon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Urbez Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Porotillo's Zayveon Romillo tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Gabriel Terron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zosimo Val sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Zosimo Val notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gulac's Fiallos Garavilla. Fiallos Garavilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
