In the 6th minute, Mendez Zaldos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Chicana getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Marcelo Baragaño hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mendez Zaldos in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Gerica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Segio Orcondona kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Gómez Ojesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Baragaño took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adrian Torrado. Huayquichuma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Huayquichuma's Adrian Torrado got control of the ball when Vitor Posadas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Huayquichuma's Segio Orcondona got a free kick in the 19th minute. Mendez Zaldos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Gerica having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Chicana's Justavino Puellas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Torrado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justavino Puellas in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Torrado saved Huayquichuma from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paredes Centeñes in the 27th minute of play forced Chicana's goalkeeper Santos Gerica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chicana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xefe Barbajero was slow to take the kick. During this time Huayquichuma's players had a chance to rest. After 31 minutes Chicana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xefe Barbajero who took care of the corner kick. When Paredes Centeñes came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Huayquichuma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paredes Centeñes couldn't finish the play. When Huayquichuma's Paredes Centeñes in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chicana's goalie prevented a goal. Santos Gerica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paredes Centeñes to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Vitor Posadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Torrado was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The supporters of Chicana booed when Huayquichuma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gómez Ojesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huayquichuma's Adrian Torrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justavino Puellas in the 62nd minute of play. If Justavino Puellas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 68 played minutes Chicana got a freekick which was hit by René Payno. Paredes Centeñes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Santos Gerica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mendez Zaldos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Chicana's Vitor Posadas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Torrado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Krikorian Garantos charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krikorian Garantos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Krikorian Garantos kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Adrian Torrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justavino Puellas in the 93rd minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
