Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Esperanza's Marquez Pereta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Batista Campanero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angulo Martin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After 4 minutes, Domingo Pumarejo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperanza and the Ocampo SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Esperanza got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Pumarejo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquez Pereta in the 12th minute of play forced Ocampo SC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Fominaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonso Gao scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oswaldo Fominaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Batista Campanero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Angulo Martin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Viviano Valenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonso Gao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Oswaldo Fominaya made a huge save. In the 42nd minute Simon Chirino suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 42 minutes into the game, William Garces was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ocampo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esperanza the free kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batista Campanero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Esperanza's goal looked a bit too open when Batista Campanero came free, but Angulo Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonso Gao might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oswaldo Fominaya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonso Gao ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute, William Garces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonso Gao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Esperanza's goalkeeper Angulo Martin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viviano Valenciano. Batista Campanero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Esperanza's Marquez Pereta got a free kick in the 70th minute. Batista Campanero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viviano Valenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angulo Martin having to interfere. If Viviano Valenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Checa Alejos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Batista Campanero came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ocampo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Batista Campanero couldn't finish the play. Ocampo SC's Viviano Valenciano got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Garces kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Vela Oropesa's late challenge caught a Ocampo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vela Oropesa helped the player get up and apologised. Ocampo SC's Videl Rasines couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Esperanza.
