The tension between the Sauce SC and the CD Montufar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CD Montufar booed when Sauce SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Sanez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pio Mateu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlon Viveros having to interfere. CD Montufar's Peter Amurrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximenes Coria in the 9th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Pepe Rojas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sauce SC's Marlon Viveros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pepe Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlon Viveros having to interfere. 24 minutes in the game, Ximenes Coria fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Peter Amurrio having to interfere. Rey Limiñana hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenes Coria in the 26th minute of play forced CD Montufar's goalkeeper Peter Amurrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xulio Vidania hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Fernandez Matas fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sauce SC's protests and gave Fernandez Matas a yellow card for diving instead. Fernandez Matas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Pepe Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marlon Viveros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sauce SC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alvarez Lomelin hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Pio Mateu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marlon Viveros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes, Sauce SC's Xavion Palacio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Amurrio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sauce SC reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ximenes Coria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José-Francisco Gorostiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Peter Amurrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pio Mateu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José-Francisco Gorostiza struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Peter Amurrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauce SC. In the 64th minute José-Francisco Gorostiza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Amurrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepe Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CD Montufar's Pio Mateu got a free kick in the 69th minute. Peter Amurrio came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sauce SC's Ximenes Coria. But to his dismay, Ximenes Coria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. José-Francisco Gorostiza might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Amurrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José-Francisco Gorostiza ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the match, CD Montufar's Pepe Rojas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marlon Viveros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 minutes of play Sauce SC's Fernandez Matas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 91 played minutes Sauce SC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandez Matas.
