Alvarez Lomelin's late challenge caught a Picoaza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvarez Lomelin helped the player get up and apologised. When Xofre Saena fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sauce SC's protests and gave Xofre Saena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Picoaza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mina Velazco to maneuver through the defense. José-Francisco Gorostiza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ximenes Coria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Picoaza's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenes Coria came free, but Xano Conill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José-Francisco Gorostiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ximenes Coria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xano Conill having to interfere. Xalvador Arbulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marlon Viveros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalvador Arbulo in the 37th minute of play. If Ximenes Coria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ximenes Coria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauce SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximenes Coria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xano Conill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Xiao Pobes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xalvador Arbulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Xalvador Arbulo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marlon Viveros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 73rd minute of the match Marcelo Pont shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marlon Viveros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José-Francisco Gorostiza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xano Conill having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Sauce SC's zone, Xalvador Arbulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marlon Viveros came out of the goal and Xalvador Arbulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Sauce SC's goal looked a bit too open when Xiao Pobes came free, but Marlon Viveros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Picoaza's goalkeeper Xano Conill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvarez Lomelin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Xiao Pobes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marlon Viveros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Xiao Pobes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picoaza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xiao Pobes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
