The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Camerin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ysmael Echeguren in the 14th minute. Francisco Ter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Sampedro having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Francisco Ter made a precise shot to the right of Matias Sampedro. CD Altamar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, CD Lascano's Francisco Ter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Sampedro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Santana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matias Sampedro. CD Altamar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. William Camerin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuhaitz Legorburu in the 44th minute of the match. If Neicer Cezuago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Matias Sampedro was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Neicer Cezuago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Neicer Cezuago really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When Sebastian Bolinaga fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Lascano's protests and gave Sebastian Bolinaga a yellow card for diving instead. Zuhaitz Legorburu scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Camerin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ysmael Echeguren came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the CD Altamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ysmael Echeguren couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysmael Echeguren in the 62nd minute of play forced CD Lascano's goalkeeper William Camerin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ysmael Echeguren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but William Camerin was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Zuhaitz Legorburu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. In the 89th minute Ysmael Echeguren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Camerin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuhaitz Legorburu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Camerin having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CD Lascano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
