Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henry Barbero kicked off to start the match. Carlos-Armando Carrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obregón Baranda in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Chimbiquiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Obregón Baranda to maneuver through the defense. Hector-Luis Gamboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chimbiquiti's Obregón Baranda got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Yacupamba booed when Chimbiquiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Rigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector-Luis Gamboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Fontanes having to interfere. A collision led to Chimbiquiti getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Xeromo Cavero hit a great ball. Raul Fontanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector-Luis Gamboa in the 26th minute. Guillermo Rigues hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Hector-Luis Gamboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Fontanes having to interfere. Moises Cueli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Obregón Baranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Moises Cueli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carlos-Armando Carrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Yacupamba's goal looked a bit too open when Obregón Baranda came free, but Carlos-Armando Carrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chimbiquiti booed when Yacupamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernaza Mandelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Yacupamba's goal looked a bit too open when Obregón Baranda came free, but Carlos-Armando Carrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Chimbiquiti's Obregón Baranda got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Carlos-Armando Carrera managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Chimbiquiti's Moises Cueli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Moises Cueli struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Carlos-Armando Carrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimbiquiti. After having played for 65 minutes, Hector-Luis Gamboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yacupamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector-Luis Gamboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chimbiquiti's Obregón Baranda got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector-Luis Gamboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Raul Fontanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Zarandona's late challenge caught a Chimbiquiti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Zarandona helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Guillermo Zarandona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes, Chimbiquiti's Uxio Albizua shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos-Armando Carrera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chimbiquiti reached it. If Hector-Luis Gamboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Chimbiquiti's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Barbero came free, but Raul Fontanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obregón Baranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yacupamba! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Chimbiquiti. Washington Urquia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos-Armando Carrera. 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chimbiquiti eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
