If Federico Sarandeses had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frutos Zorrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Pareja got free with Jorge Moron in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Nari's zone, Frutos Zorrilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casado Roales came out of the goal and Frutos Zorrilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casado Roales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frutos Zorrilla went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Parrales Huarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, Nari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Parrales Huarte to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Moron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Pareja in the 47th minute. Santos Tomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Flor Zulueta hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Rogelio Pareja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Moron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Federico Sarandeses got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pillig's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
