Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antonio Losada kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Villafuerte Atienza got free with Clemente Piñero in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Losada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Piñero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Losada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Asomana's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Losada came free, but Clemente Piñero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vela Cepeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Xorxe Urquiza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Asomana's Vela Cepeda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xorxe Urquiza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Asomana's Joaquin Yaner in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sangay FC's goalie prevented a goal. Clemente Piñero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangay FC. Vela Cepeda hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Villafuerte Atienza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Sangay FC booed when Asomana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xusto Ufret didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Antonio Losada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xusto Ufret charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xusto Ufret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Asomana got a freekick which was hit by Xusto Ufret. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vela Cepeda to make the kick off. Villafuerte Atienza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Yaner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xorxe Urquiza came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquin Yaner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Sangay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vela Cepeda came free, but Xorxe Urquiza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Yaner struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Xorxe Urquiza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asomana. Asomana's Vela Cepeda got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xorxe Urquiza made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Joaquin Yaner sent off a good shot on target. Hurtado Villametide's late challenge caught a Asomana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hurtado Villametide helped the player get up and apologised. Hurtado Villametide hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Asomana's Vela Cepeda got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sangay FC! The goalkeeper, Xorxe Urquiza, was totally fooled by Asomana's Mendoza Cerrajeria, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Hurtado Villametide was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Hurtado Villametide hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Graziani Arzuriaga hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Asomana's Mendoza Cerrajeria couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sangay FC. Xorxe Urquiza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Yaner in the 98th minute. Asomana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
