Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavier Orive started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Huiroguaico SC's Yánez Aranzabe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Binet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ibarra Era fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gacela's protests and gave Ibarra Era a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Intriago Neli in the 16th minute of play forced Huiroguaico SC's goalkeeper Romo Varandalla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Xavier Orive fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huiroguaico SC's protests and gave Xavier Orive a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Huiroguaico SC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Orive. Felix Borinaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Romo Varandalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Intriago Neli in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romo Varandalla saved Huiroguaico SC from getting behind. Romo Varandalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Intriago Neli in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Yánez Aranzabe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Binet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hector Guinao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fausto Binet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romo Varandalla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Borinaga's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Felix Borinaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romo Varandalla was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Romo Varandalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ibarra Era, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Intriago Neli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gacela's Fausto Binet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yánez Aranzabe in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Huiroguaico SC's goalkeeper Romo Varandalla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Borinaga. Huiroguaico SC's Xavier Orive got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Huiroguaico SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Hector Guinao hit a great ball. With a little luck, Huiroguaico SC's Romo Varandalla got control of the ball when Felix Borinaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Hector Guinao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huiroguaico SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Guinao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yoelvis Cerdeño during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Gacela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoelvis Cerdeño to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Huiroguaico SC's Yánez Aranzabe got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Romo Varandalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Intriago Neli in the 84th minute of the match. If Felix Borinaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Fernando Roncesvalles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huiroguaico SC and the Gacela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Roncesvalles hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Huiroguaico SC's zone, Felix Borinaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romo Varandalla came out of the goal and Felix Borinaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
