Vincent Urdaneta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Pacio in the 4th minute of the match. UD Rusicocha's Rey Vilella got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Pacio in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Urdaneta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Pacio in the 12th minute of play forced UD Rusicocha's goalkeeper Vincent Urdaneta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ximenes Rosete managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Rusicocha's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximenes Rosete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Bipiana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ximenes Rosete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Julio Bipiana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Bipiana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Rosete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rey Vilella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, UD Rusicocha's Vincent Urdaneta got control of the ball when Ascencio Fontevilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rey Vilella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Julio Bipiana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Evelio Ibarguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Bipiana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Rosete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ascencio Fontevilla came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the UD Machetajero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ascencio Fontevilla couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ximenes Rosete to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Roberto Pacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Urdaneta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Rey Vilella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Rusicocha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 76th minute, Roberto Pacio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Machetajero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Roberto Pacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. In the 97th match minute, UD Rusicocha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitor Viñaspre to maneuver through the defense. The UD Rusicocha players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented UD Machetajero from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
