The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Rey Vilella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Rusicocha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rey Vilella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zhimbrue's Marlon Marmol got a free kick in the 7th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Leonides Juarez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pablo Barnechea kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With splendid footwork Ximenes Rosete arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rey Vilella got free with Leonides Juarez in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vincent Urdaneta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blanco Abascal in the 26th minute of the match. Rey Vilella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Leonides Juarez made a huge save. Blanco Abascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Urdaneta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Blanco Abascal succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Vincent Urdaneta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blanco Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 58th minute Ximenes Rosete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Juarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santiago Fortes fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Rusicocha's protests and gave Santiago Fortes a yellow card for diving instead. Yader Brena struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Leonides Juarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Rusicocha. Leonides Juarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximenes Rosete, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Leonides Juarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenes Rosete in the 68th minute of the match. Inocencio Casanande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Urdaneta having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Rey Vilella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Juarez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a little luck, UD Rusicocha's Vincent Urdaneta got control of the ball when Inocencio Casanande tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rey Vilella came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the UD Rusicocha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rey Vilella couldn't finish the play. If Ximenes Rosete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Joaquin Morente in the 90th minute really tested Vincent Urdaneta's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Blanco Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blanco Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UD Rusicocha had won after a very even match.
