Demetrio Bustos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Costante Herran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaruquies. De-la-Cruz Abendaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Vergaray Miar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costante Herran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Bustos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Vergaray Miar managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Poalopos SC's De-la-Cruz Abendaño fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. De-la-Cruz Abendaño was the one to do the kick off. Angel Lariz's late challenge caught a Poalopos SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Lariz helped the player get up and apologised. Angel Lariz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Poalopos SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Urruchua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Costante Herran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Poalopos SC had played much better football throughout.
