Emilio Onez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibarra Rosa in the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Ovidio Yanez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Somiedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Gavito made a kick off. Emilio Onez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Gavito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ibarra Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xano Pipa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ibarra Rosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Emilio Onez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Chaves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilio Onez. That made the score 0-2 in the 65 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ovidio Yanez notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CD Guaitacama's Roger Somiedo. Roger Somiedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Texeira Agosta kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Ovidio Yanez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Onez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ibarra Rosa in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes of play, CD Guaitacama's Paolo Gavito made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Onez was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Villapun in the 89th minute of play forced CD Guaitacama's goalkeeper Roger Somiedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ibarra Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Guaitacama's supporters rose to their feet, but Ibarra Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Onez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cotosaz SC's Xano Pipa got a free kick in the 95th minute. The CD Guaitacama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Guaitacama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
