Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) UD Junin's Sergio Motrico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xaven Urraca hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Zigor Morellana kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Molinopamba booed when UD Junin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Motrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Armando Errazquin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Molinopamba booed when UD Junin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elkin Sabugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Molinopamba's Xano Ansures got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Molinopamba booed when UD Junin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Riazos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Armando Errazquin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molinopamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Errazquin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zigor Morellana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Juan Casados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xano Ansures stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergio Motrico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Casados having to interfere. Zigor Morellana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Motrico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Casados made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zigor Morellana in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Molinopamba getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cruz Valmayor hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Sergio Motrico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergio Motrico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Casados. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. Zigor Morellana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Casados having to make a save. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Molinopamba's goalkeeper Juan Casados, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Errazquin in the 79th minute of play forced UD Junin's goalkeeper Juan-Angel Sainz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Casados made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Zigor Morellana sent off a good shot on target. Xano Ansures fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Angel Sainz having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Xano Ansures managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molinopamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xano Ansures was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match Umea Frecha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan-Angel Sainz skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UD Junin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
