Coyette Zurita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 30th minute Xulio Chagavia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pico Ben saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Xulio Chagavia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Boyaca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Boyaca's goalkeeper Coyette Zurita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CD Boyaca were furious when Ferrer Senzano was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
