Ur Puentes started the match with the kick off. Zigor Rebenga hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes, Ur Puentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Pangua and the Puruving FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CD Pangua getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ur Puentes hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Lorenzo Cossa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. González Redin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fernando Saladrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Saladrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis-Antonio Fleytas's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Teofilo Pena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaramillo Bratuti in the 20th minute. González Redin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. González Redin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Saladrigues having to interfere. Luis-Antonio Fleytas struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fernando Saladrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puruving FC. When Puruving FC's Luis-Antonio Fleytas in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 42nd match minute, CD Pangua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Somalo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CD Pangua's zone, Luis-Antonio Fleytas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Saladrigues came out of the goal and Luis-Antonio Fleytas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when González Redin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CD Pangua's zone, Luis-Antonio Fleytas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Saladrigues came out of the goal and Luis-Antonio Fleytas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Pangua's goalkeeper Fernando Saladrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CD Pangua's Fernando Saladrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by González Redin in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Puruving FC booed when CD Pangua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Rubina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puruving FC's Luis-Antonio Fleytas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Puruving FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ur Puentes came free, but Teofilo Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Ur Puentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yoelvis Bolde in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Pena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Cossa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Pangua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puruving FC the free kick. Fernando Saladrigues made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Luis-Antonio Fleytas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in CD Pangua's zone, Luis-Antonio Fleytas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Saladrigues came out of the goal and Luis-Antonio Fleytas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 played minutes CD Pangua got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cossa. Fernando Saladrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from González Redin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Puruving FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
