Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) CD Guantu's Oso Bilbao started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vitor Garoña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Rael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Vitor Garoña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hugo Rael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Argoños struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Hugo Rael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marcopamba. Oso Bilbao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Marcopamba getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rolando Arriete hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Xurxo Romani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xusto Crisol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xurxo Romani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Xusto Crisol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venceslao Camba during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes CD Guantu got a freekick which was hit by Venceslao Camba. After a rather tough play, CD Guantu's Ruben Grados got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When Patricio Viera came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Marcopamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Viera couldn't finish the play. Xusto Crisol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oso Bilbao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Rael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitor Garoña's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitor Garoña to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the CD Guantu defense, Federico Argoños kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Rael. The CD Guantu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Rael should have stopped the shot. After 57 minutes, Umbruso Cervantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Guantu and the Marcopamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Marcopamba booed when CD Guantu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umbruso Cervantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Rael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitor Garoña in the 67th minute of the match. Hugo Rael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitor Garoña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes, Noriega Ovin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Guantu and the Marcopamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xurxo Romani had several of the Marcopamba's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Xusto Crisol as he didn't even see the shot coming. 95 minutes into the match, Marcopamba's goalkeeper Xusto Crisol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xurxo Romani. For all the effort they put into the match, the CD Guantu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marcopamba.
