Lucas Cesura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Argoños, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urdin Souto during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Marcopamba booed when Yerbabuena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urdin Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Federico Argoños notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yerbabuena's Lucas Cesura. Lucas Cesura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcopamba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
