The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xantalen Acebo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Fabio Ester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiriacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Ester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xantalen Acebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yambay Vital sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Gainzarain kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Miguel Meneses hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With his leg Mateus Mirafuentes managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Pedro's Leon Beilzo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venerando Cañas during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Chiriacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venerando Cañas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chiriacu getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Xinaro Ucero hit a great ball. Carcelén Echague received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mateus Mirafuentes came out and tried to block the shot, but Carcelén Echague slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Xantalen Acebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yambay Vital in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Fabio Ester ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xantalen Acebo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fabio Ester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Ester made a kick off. Mateus Mirafuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carcelén Echague in the 64th minute of the match. If Fabio Ester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Beilzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Yambay Vital ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xantalen Acebo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Chiriacu's Fabio Ester in the 84th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Xantalen Acebo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pedro through an amazing save. Mateus Mirafuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carcelén Echague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 87 minutes, Leon Beilzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Beilzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carcelén Echague came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Pedro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carcelén Echague couldn't finish the play. Carcelén Echague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Carcelén Echague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Mirafuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leon Beilzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
