In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Conrrogal's goalkeeper Salvador Lasurtigui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Coltapamba's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Ester came free, but Perez Calero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Buelva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Lasurtigui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Leiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Coltapamba getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Minda Calera hit a great ball. Salvador Lasurtigui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Buelva in the 22nd minute of play. Ramon Buelva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Salvador Lasurtigui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Leiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Lasurtigui having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Ramon Buelva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Lasurtigui. Conrrogal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Buelva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luis Landa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Salvador Lasurtigui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Leiro in the 40th minute of the match. Erick Larrea kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Leandro Bebias hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when RodrÃguez Antigua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ramon Buelva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Minda Calera kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Conrrogal's RodrÃguez Antigua got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coltapamba's Perez Calero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Ester in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Minda Calera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coltapamba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conrrogal the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Coltapamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minda Calera to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Efrain Iruretagoyena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Coltapamba's Perez Calero didn't even have to move. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
