Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Serena took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Suscal Heredia got free with Jeremias Fontarigo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th match minute, UD Sumo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vennancio Sardaneta to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th match minute, Guanaje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Forcat to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Mariano Serena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dominguez Izquierdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Serena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Alberto Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kléber Capetillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dominguez Izquierdo. UD Sumo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The corner led to Guanaje's Mariano Serena getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Vennancio Sardaneta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Fontarigo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vennancio Sardaneta to strike the kick off in the second half. Walter Forcat hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Mariano Serena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When UD Sumo's Vennancio Sardaneta in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 68 minutes of play, UD Sumo's Suscal Heredia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Fontarigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Suscal Heredia managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Sumo's supporters rose to their feet, but Suscal Heredia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Fontarigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, UD Sumo's Dominguez Izquierdo got control of the ball when Ramirez Bayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Suscal Heredia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jeremias Fontarigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Vennancio Sardaneta came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the UD Sumo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vennancio Sardaneta couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vennancio Sardaneta managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Sumo's supporters rose to their feet, but Vennancio Sardaneta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Fontarigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes UD Sumo got a freekick which was hit by Criban Urquicia. Dominguez Izquierdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Serena, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vennancio Sardaneta in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Fontarigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
