Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chigledel SC's Paiva Bazan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Chigledel SC's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Bolaños came free, but Dominguez Francos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erwin Bolaños sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Moranto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paiva Bazan in the 12th minute of the match. When Paiva Bazan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Chigledel SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paiva Bazan couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Chigledel SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cornelio Santistevan hit a great ball. After 18 minutes, Urtats Urquicia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chigledel SC and the CD Chinguil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, one of Chigledel SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chigledel SC. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for CD Chinguil. Humberto Cossa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dominguez Francos. 0-1. Erwin Bolaños's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominguez Francos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Erwin Bolaños fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominguez Francos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CD Chinguil's Carlos-Alberto Corcuera got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paiva Bazan in the 41st minute of play forced CD Chinguil's goalkeeper George Moranto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paiva Bazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CD Chinguil's George Moranto got control of the ball when Villagra Caroso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Alas to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos-Alberto Corcuera kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Villagra Caroso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of CD Chinguil's George Moranto. George Moranto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chigledel SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Erwin Bolaños scored to the left of an out of position Dominguez Francos, making the score, 1-2. Paiva Bazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Moranto having to interfere. CD Chinguil's Teodoro Alas got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Alas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dominguez Francos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Cornelio Santistevan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The CD Chinguil supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Chinguil would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
