The referee showed Omar Egas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Shuyucuchu SC's Omar Egas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Fernando Arrojo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Shuyucuchu SC's Xabier Negro didn't even have to move. In the 27th match minute, Shuyucuchu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Arriete to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes Shuyucuchu SC got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Retes. In the 35th minute UD Quimshi were awarded a corner. Fernando Arrojo went to the cornerflag to take it. Ubaldo Ulibarri made a great header on UD Quimshi's corner, it was just that Shuyucuchu SC's Xabier Negro managed to reach the ball for a save. 36 minutes into the game, Marques Finez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shuyucuchu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Quimshi the free kick. Marques Finez hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xabier Negro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Omar Egas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reyes Ampuero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marques Finez in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

58 minutes into the match, UD Quimshi's Gomez Odon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xabier Negro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Luciano Polo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Polo got free with Xabier Negro in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 played minutes, UD Quimshi's Fernando Arrojo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xabier Negro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Quimshi reached it. In the 73rd minute, Xeromo Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marques Finez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Freddy Camero notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of UD Quimshi's Reyes Ampuero. Reyes Ampuero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luzuriaga Gorostiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Xabier Negro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Shuyucuchu SC's goalkeeper Xabier Negro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Polo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Poroso Copeiro during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Poroso Copeiro hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The UD Quimshi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
