Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, UD Shiramentza's Raul Asas got control of the ball when Inocencio Villariño tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Azconzábal Volante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UD Shiramentza's Gomez Esnarriaga got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Azconzábal Volante might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Navarro Mondrevilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Azconzábal Volante ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute of the match, Ascencio Biñayo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raul Asas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Aguarico SC's zone, Gomez Esnarriaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Navarro Mondrevilla came out of the goal and Gomez Esnarriaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Washington Requena fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Shiramentza's protests and gave Washington Requena a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UD Shiramentza's Washington Requena got a free kick in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Aguarico SC's Inocencio Villariño slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raul Asas. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. After 25 minutes, Jonathan Sagaseta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aguarico SC and the UD Shiramentza players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Aguarico SC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Sagaseta. After 26 minutes, Gomez Esnarriaga made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Aguarico SC's Navarro Mondrevilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, one of Aguarico SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aguarico SC's Navarro Mondrevilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azconzábal Volante in the 33rd minute of play. Azconzábal Volante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Navarro Mondrevilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inocencio Villariño was the one to do the kick off. Ramón Eguilaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Asas having to make a save. UD Shiramentza's Raul Asas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Eguilaz in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aguarico SC's Inocencio Villariño got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Gomez Esnarriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gomez Esnarriaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Navarro Mondrevilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Azconzábal Volante showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Azconzábal Volante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Shiramentza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azconzábal Volante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gomez Esnarriaga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Navarro Mondrevilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fernández Laviada charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernández Laviada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aguarico SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Fernández Laviada hit a great ball. Navarro Mondrevilla stood somewhat misplaced when Azconzábal Volante came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 78 minute. The supporters of Aguarico SC booed when UD Shiramentza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Guia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Washington Requena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Azconzábal Volante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Navarro Mondrevilla having to make a save. Gomez Esnarriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Shiramentza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
