Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gabriel Berria started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vermudo Lavandera struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Neicer Pro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cicalpa SC. Wilfredo Teixido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Basanta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Gabriel Berria might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Basanta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Berria ran back to his position shaking his head. After 13 minutes, Gabriel Berria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shell and the Cicalpa SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cicalpa SC booed when Shell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Berria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Teixido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Salvador Basanta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Basanta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Berria in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Wilfredo Teixido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Teixido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Cicalpa SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Berria came free, but Salvador Basanta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cicalpa SC's Vermudo Lavandera got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Shell's Urritz Berinduaga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Urritz Berinduaga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Shell protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Urritz Berinduaga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Wilfredo Teixido scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvador Basanta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 minutes, Romeo Barela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shell and the Cicalpa SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Shell got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Barela.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Sandoval to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vermudo Lavandera in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neicer Pro saved Shell from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Sandoval in the 53rd minute of play forced Shell's goalkeeper Neicer Pro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Shell's Timoteo Saiz got a free kick in the 60th minute. Neicer Pro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Sandoval's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Alvaro Montane's late challenge caught a Shell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Montane helped the player get up and apologised. Neicer Pro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Sandoval's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Miguel Sandoval scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neicer Pro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Timoteo Saiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Basanta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Vermudo Lavandera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Neicer Pro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wilfredo Teixido came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Shell fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Teixido couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Shell eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
