The referee ignored Zambi FC's protests and gave Camilo Marines a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Marines hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Erick Cantera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xelo Orengo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Cariton hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Zambi FC's Juan-Carlos Benavides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Zambi FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Zambi FC's Xose Quejo got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Camilo Marines came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Zambi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Marines couldn't finish the play. Zambi FC's Camilo Marines got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xelo Orengo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erick Cantera having to interfere. Fernando Era received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan-Carlos Benavides came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Era slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camilo Marines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CD Shipir getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Francisco Alzorbe hit a great ball. Wilfredo Sever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Era might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan-Carlos Benavides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Era ran back to his position shaking his head. Arboleda Batalle kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Fernando Era made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zambi FC's Juan-Carlos Benavides tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th match minute, CD Shipir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Alzorbe to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Xelo Orengo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CD Shipir's Erick Cantera. Erick Cantera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Sever notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Zambi FC's Juan-Carlos Benavides.
