Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xamo Bastida started the match with the kick off. Xines Argüelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Tarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Xamo Bastida reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulises Bueres. The goal made the score 1-0. When Alberto Reboredo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmela's protests and gave Alberto Reboredo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chahuarbamba FC booed when Carmela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Reboredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Xamo Bastida took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ulises Bueres to make any attempt to save it. If Mora Pelaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Albino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ulises Bueres firmly grabbed it by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Chahuarbamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mora Pelaz came free, but Xines Argüelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reyes Arruta struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Xines Argüelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmela. A collision led to Chahuarbamba FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. España Vivaldo hit a great ball. Ruben Albino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulises Bueres came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruben Albino slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Albino got free with Ulises Bueres in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Ruben Albino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulises Bueres, 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, Chahuarbamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reyes Arruta came free, but Xines Argüelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mora Pelaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mora Pelaz made a kick off. When Mora Pelaz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Carmela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mora Pelaz couldn't finish the play. Mora Pelaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Xines Argüelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mora Pelaz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Carmela's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Albino came free, but Ulises Bueres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xines Argüelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mora Pelaz in the 65th minute of play. Xines Argüelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reyes Arruta in the 67th minute. If Xamo Bastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Ciscal charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Ciscal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zeledon Ciscal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Reyes Arruta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mora Pelaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reyes Arruta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xamo Bastida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ulises Bueres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
