Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Angapamba's Dennis Alsua started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to CD Ratona getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. González Lisundia hit a great ball. Luis Urigarri kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Gadea in the 6th minute of play forced Angapamba's goalkeeper Edgar Murias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klimovich Balmaceda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Alsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Murias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Gadea in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Angapamba's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Gadea came free, but Edgar Murias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Ugutz Pamanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Murias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Urigarri hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ugutz Pamanes in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Murias saved Angapamba from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Ugutz Pamanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Ratona's supporters rose to their feet, but Ugutz Pamanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Murias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Murias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Sedano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes in the game, Dennis Alsua fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Klimovich Balmaceda having to interfere. Klimovich Balmaceda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Ucieda in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute, Miguel Marimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Angapamba's Edgar Murias got control of the ball when Armando Gadea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute Ugutz Pamanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Murias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Armando Gadea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ugutz Pamanes took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Edgar Murias to make any attempt to save it. Edgar Murias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ugutz Pamanes in the 74th minute of play. Klimovich Balmaceda came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Angapamba's Miguel Marimon. But to his dismay, Miguel Marimon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 83rd minute Vinicio Ucieda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klimovich Balmaceda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, CD Ratona's Armando Gadea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Murias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Alsua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Klimovich Balmaceda having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
