A hard shot 12 in the game by Pico Ceruelo from a close distance when the talented Candelario Mendes managed to make a qualified save. Jatupamba SC's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice moves Pico Ceruelo could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Candelario Mendes however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Malacatus FC booed when Jatupamba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Cortiguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klimovich Guadiana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Ojea in the 25th minute of the match. Candelario Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torres Enciso, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pico Ceruelo got free with Candelario Mendes in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavel Ojea was the one to do the kick off. Candelario Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malacatus FC. If Pico Ceruelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pico Ceruelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candelario Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Torres Enciso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Candelario Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
