Ismael Marcello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. UD Gualleturo's Yánez Azurmendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Gomez in the 30th minute of play. Shinapungo SC's Zuzen Fontarigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramírez Dopazo in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Hugo Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zuzen Fontarigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramírez Dopazo in the 45th minute of the match. Moreta Ureña charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moreta Ureña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UD Gualleturo booed when Shinapungo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moreta Ureña didn't get a good kick on the ball. When UD Gualleturo's Ramírez Dopazo, in the 47th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for UD Gualleturo. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Díaz Valdero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Marcello in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yánez Azurmendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yánez Azurmendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Marcello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parisi Rebollar struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Zuzen Fontarigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Gualleturo. Zuzen Fontarigo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ramírez Dopazo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. In the 75th minute, Romo Docanado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Parisi Rebollar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Juan-Alfredo Yaner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shinapungo SC and the UD Gualleturo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Shinapungo SC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Juan-Alfredo Yaner hit a great ball. UD Gualleturo's Parisi Rebollar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Cortaza during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shinapungo SC's Jose Cortaza got a free kick in the 91st minute. UD Gualleturo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
