Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arévalo Izana took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristian Toribia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, one of Punachisac FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Punachisac FC. If Romulo Imendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chiriboga Moreruela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Argos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. If Chiriboga Moreruela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiriboga Moreruela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Punachisac FC's Arévalo Izana got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Zernin Noreña came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sequer SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zernin Noreña couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Sequer SC's Romulo Imendia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Argos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Lisandro Dopacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chiriboga Moreruela to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sequer SC's Vitin Soret got control of the ball when Carlos-Alberto Posadas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romulo Imendia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Paolo Argos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Imendia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Chiriboga Moreruela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Argos was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 59 played minutes Punachisac FC got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Escude. After a defensive mix-up in Punachisac FC's zone, Romulo Imendia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Argos came out of the goal and Romulo Imendia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Argos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiriboga Moreruela in the 73rd minute of the match. Paolo Argos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Imendia in the 74th minute of play. Carlos-Alberto Posadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitin Soret having to interfere. Chiriboga Moreruela struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Paolo Argos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sequer SC. Sequer SC's Vitin Soret proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Sequer SC from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Punachisac FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Imendia came free, but Paolo Argos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Tocos hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
