Playanas's Villegas Yunibarbia got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Miguel Vives dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Díaz Becerro, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cerecita's Zavior Lebon got a free kick in the 13th minute. A hard shot by Yago Mallo from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Díaz Becerro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 18th minute, Miguel Vives reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Díaz Becerro. The goal made the score 2-0. When Villegas Yunibarbia came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Playanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villegas Yunibarbia couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Playanas defense, Chalá Laureano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Caraveo. The Playanas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Caraveo should have stopped the shot. Chalá Laureano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Caraveo having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Playanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Failde to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaniusky Cartagena in the 35th minute of play forced Playanas's goalkeeper Armando Caraveo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Failde charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Failde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Playanas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jorge Failde hit a great ball. Xavieon Vado hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Arboleda Cadorniga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Playanas's Armando Caraveo didn't even have to move. 45 minutes into the game, Cerecita's Chalá Laureano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Caraveo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yaniusky Cartagena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Pedro Guixot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerecita the free kick. In the 60th minute, Pedro Guixot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arboleda Cadorniga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armando Caraveo. Playanas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Villegas Yunibarbia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Miguel Vives notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Cerecita's Díaz Becerro. Díaz Becerro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 75 minutes, Villegas Yunibarbia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villegas Yunibarbia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Vives fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Díaz Becerro having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cerecita's Yaniusky Cartagena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Caraveo. That made the score 3-3 after 82 minutes of play. A collision led to Playanas getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jorge Failde hit a great ball. Yaniusky Cartagena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Caraveo having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
