Urbez Cosca scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cortez Marchamalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cortez Marchamalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Menchaca in the 70th minute of the match. Ermelinda's Gustavo Rabago got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marquez Pineda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cortez Marchamalo. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ermelinda were victorious despite being under pressure from UD Montepa for much of the match.
