Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Efrain Durana got the match started through his kick off. Wellington Paramo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoel Barzana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Quinonez booed when UD Milagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bolívar Loizaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Yoel Barzana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Paramo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosero Padolles's late challenge caught a UD Milagro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosero Padolles helped the player get up and apologised. UD Milagro's Marlon Posadas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quinonez. Urbez Chamorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Fleitas Ayarza made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rocio Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington Paramo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Quinonez got a freekick which was hit by Rosero Padolles. Efrain Durana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Fleitas Ayarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbez Chamorro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fleitas Ayarza firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to UD Milagro getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Darío Cerredo hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Checa Garzona during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Checa Garzona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zxavian Cisquella's late challenge caught a Quinonez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zxavian Cisquella helped the player get up and apologised. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yoel Barzana to make the kick off. Wellington Paramo made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Rocio Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Efrain Durana sped through Quinonez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fleitas Ayarza. Quinonez's Rocio Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fleitas Ayarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbez Chamorro in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, UD Milagro's Zxavian Cisquella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fleitas Ayarza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Oscar Trimiño fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quinonez's protests and gave Oscar Trimiño a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of UD Milagro booed when Quinonez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Trimiño didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Zxavian Cisquella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fleitas Ayarza skillfully saved the ball. 76 minutes into the match, UD Milagro's Efrain Durana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fleitas Ayarza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Efrain Durana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fleitas Ayarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rocio Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Wellington Paramo made a huge save. Wellington Paramo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Armando Llorengoz sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Efrain Durana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Quinonez's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Durana came free, but Fleitas Ayarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rocio Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UD Milagro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quinonez had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
